The Translational Biomaterials Research Laboratory is a group in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Colorado, Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus. Our location on the Anschutz Medical Campus provides us with opportunities for unique, clinical collaborations, which is key feature to our group. We also collaborate with other institutions across the state of Colorado and in other States.
We aim to develop and employ polymeric biomaterials to study and treat diverse pathologies. Specifically, we investigate natural and synthetic polymers for in vitro three dimensional disease models, drug delivery systems, tissue engineering, and antimicrobial material coatings.
